Lela Ruck, MD, is a 2014-graduate of The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center from Lubbock, TX. Her postgraduate training includes her internal medicine residency served at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO (2014-2017). Dr. Ruck attained board certification in internal medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of several professional societies and associations. Dr. Ruck feels that her success is primarily attributable to her grandfather, who majored in chemistry, for fostering her interest in everything science. She spent a lot of time with him while she was a child, and he was always talking about and promoting science. From this childhood beginning, she planned to be a doctor.
